The japanese language is a great language to learn, especially for those who love anime.but it can be particularly difficult for native english speakers. i have taught japanese in canada for a while now, and i often see they struggle with three things: word order, particles and keigo 敬語 ( )! (literally respectful language).
The japanese language has many honorifics, referred to as keigo (敬語, literally "respectful language"), parts of speech that show respect.their use is mandatory in many social situations. honorifics in japanese may be used to emphasize social distance or disparity in rank, or to emphasize social intimacy or similarity in rank..
